RE: Bonnet/Boot stay

Dax do kits for front and back - including mounts - pretty good - although on cold days my bonnet does not always stay up (does on warm days!).

RE: Bonnet/Boot stay

Check that you have both stronger rams at the front and the weaker ones on the boot. They look identical but they are marked up with the strength.
I had mine wrong at first and the bonnet wouldn't stay up.

RE: Bonnet/Boot stay

Dax's are good, paired (in differing poundage force 70 & 40 or summat) come with a mounting kit and are easy to fit. Dax will also supply a diagram on where to mount the respective brackets. However, I have found with my Dax that the bonnet ones are fine but the boot lid ones are only just strong enough. Maybe its because (I'm a Londoner - er no, sorry!), maybe its because I have heavy carpet lining the inside of my boot lid.

Dave

Mine are the adjustable pressure ones from Radio Spares, you can let the pressure out to suit the strength of the bonnet and boot.

I made the brackets from stainless sheet, a lot cheaper than buying ready made.
