| SVA compliant brightwork Hi everyone I am the point now where I need to order bonnet catches, hinges and other bright stuff. i have searched the archives of this erudite group but can't find who supplies this stuff. Does anyone have a favorite supplier of external fittings who offer SVA compliant products? Thanks in advance John

| RE: SVA compliant brightwork Thanks Kev and Chris FYI Europa say they have SVA compliant products, but as the SVA test itself depends so much on the individual inspector, they cannot actually guarantee comliance. Chris, your contacts do guarantee comliance, and they provide a plastic radiused cover for the handles. Thanks for the advice.

| RE: SVA compliant brightwork I second SJ Motors , very knowledgeable and will " negotiate" over prices. Buy all your requirements at once in a job lot and pick them up and you will get a good discount. Most Ak'ers use them and they include things like bonnet handle lock blanking plates etc. Cheers, Tony

| RE: SVA compliant brightwork I ordered some SVA compliant boot hinges & bonnet & boot latches from S&J before Christmas having looked around a lot. Price is very sensible (unlike some rip off merchants making unreasonable profit from SVA concerns). Only problem is I am still waiting for them because they are awaiting delivery ! Perhaps if you order some mine will appear !!!!! They seem very nice people. No one told me to negotiate price, doh. Cheers. :tu |
