| What do you think of this dash layout? Any (constructive) comments greatly received. Yes, I know the switches are ugly, but that's partly the SVA's fault... I may move the indicator warning lights to behind the steering wheel, but the gauges are in the right places, I think. It is for a GD... http://www.cobraclub.com/crcforum/user_files/3809.jpg Robin Drive it like you stole it... http://www.creffield.com/cobra/index.html

| RE: What do you think of this dash layout? Too late, I've already bought the clock... I think I'll have to do a mockup to see where the steering wheel is going to fit... Robin Drive it like you stole it... http://www.creffield.com/cobra/index.html

| RE: What do you think of this dash layout? Please please please leave the clothes on I don't care much for male nudity(and I won't be held responsible for burns) however my wife said maybe a cobra owners calender might be a good idea. And if the thought of skidding around your carpet is a turn on you wait until your driving the real thing. dave.n

| RE: What do you think of this dash layout? Hi Robin, as the others have said it is your car and must be the way you want it and no one else. The main thing to do is before you cut out anything mock up your dash by either marking up the position of the dials on the dash or sticking bits of paper on it, then stick it in the car and sit in the car with a steering wheel in roughly the position it will be in and make sure that you can see the dials. My first effort hid the oil pressure guage rather nicely behind the steering wheel, so up came mark 2.Not everyones cup of tea but as I said build it how YOU want it. HTH Martin :tu :tu :tu :tu

| RE: What do you think of this dash layout? Robin. Looks fine to me but move the full face oil pressure gauge to the centre and the oil light next to the starter button. For a symetric look. You asked about a cigar lighter before, how about putting that where the starter button is and move the button up to the steering wheel area with the ignition key and perhaps a fuel pump switch?
