| RE: Remote Solenoid Mike, if going back direct to the battery, I'd advise you to fit a fuse at the battery end. As a rough guide, use a rating of 10 times the CSA of the cable. Preferably use one of the stud-terminal type fuses, not a plug-in type - lower resistance. eg 3mmsq=30A, 6mmsq=60Aetc. The solenoid on mine draws about 25A. Simon.
