7/8" SLAVE CYLINDER

Can anybody advise me of the make and part number of a suitable 7/8" slave cylinder for use on a 5speed getrag gearbox mated to a small block chevy.

If its for an AK Ken recomends Merlin Motorsport (01249) 782181 www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk They only do the one on pg 26 of 2004 catalogue at pound 27.45. By the way if you are building an AK I am 30 miles north in Morecambe.

Found this website(essexparts.com)shows a picture of the slave cylinder. Surely if i am fitting it to the nearside on the gearbox with the bleed nipple at the top i require the lefthand and not the righthand

Turn the right hand one upside down, so pipe entry and bleed nipple are at the bottom, bingo :tu :tu :tu :tu :tu

No, car has been on the road for 2 yrs without a problem.

Plus with the .875 slave, 3/4" master and a 10 1/2" clutch plate, I have ended up with a reasonably light clutch pedal.
