Bodywork nose escutcheons for front over rider mounting rods My Ak no longer has a full compliment of these so I need to either remove them all - nah! forget that!! Or, find someone who can make these up for me. I'm told by Brasscraft and AK that they're a custom part being shaped to the body and all that. Has anyone had these made up and if so who should I go to? I'm already armed with a shopping list for Detling on Sunday!!

RE: Bodywork nose escutcheons for front over rider mounting Scott I am pretty sure they were all there. Have they come away from the body and slid along inside one of the overriders???? Col.

RE: Bodywork nose escutcheons for front over rider mounting Hi there. I got my front over riders from Brasscraft (for my AK). I ordered the escutcheons from Dax and they fitted fine (seemed to fit the shape of the body ok). I stuck em on with some Sikaflex (from Merlin Motorsport) and then wiped the residue away. They look ok to me and wont come off in a hurry. Marcus

Found it!!!!!!!!! DOH!!! That'll teach me!! It was wedged in the back of the over-rider. Coaxed it out with the 'threat' of a screwdriver and 'promise' of a little autosol....(pleasure/pain principle :P). Panic over.....
