gearbox



Hi

I have decided to use a getrag box with my ford 302, my problem is which one is it i need, do i use the same bellhousing and clutch fork ect.

Any help you guys(and girls) can give me will be much appreciated.

You want a Getrag out off any manual XJ6 or BMW 5 or 7 Series, if you find a BMW one, make sure it has a detachable bellhousing, as some BMW boxes are a complete unit with bellhousing attached.

When you find a box, ring Ken at AK and he will make you an adaptor plate to fit onto your 302 bellhousing.

Or, You could use my Tremec 5 speed complete with bell housing, clutch, clutch fork, thrust bearing, and pressure plate, it will bolt straight onto a ford block.
