| RE: VAC ADVANCE Hi, I have one you can have FOC, I bought it as mine was duff too, I didnt notice any difference with it but a mate of mine had the same problem and he noticed a difference with a carb setup. | RE: VAC ADVANCE Tony, acceleration will be sluggish and may initially affect the top end if no advance state is achieved you will only be running 6 deg before TDC instead of a total of perhaps 28 deg's Eric |

| RE: VAC ADVANCE Tony, the weights in the dizzy control the timing. The vac advance is there primarily for fuel economy although as pointed out it can affect acceleration and top end performance :tu Rob
