Tyre pressure guages

Any views on tyre pressure guages ? ?

I have a good quality dial type pressure guage & also recently obtained a digital guage.

My question is although they are both consistent in their readings the digital guage always reads 3 or 4 psi more than the dial type which one is the more accurate ? ?

Any ideas

RE: Tyre pressure guages

You have no way of knowing unless you check them against one that has been properly calibrated.

RE: Tyre pressure guages

Hello,
I have a newbow gauge, they come with a certificate of accuracy to 0.1%, so hopefully that should be OK (should be what it cost !!). I see you are not that far from me, if you are about send me a mail and you can drop in and I will check your pressures and you can see which one of your gauges is OK.

Mark.
