Fitting brake and clutch master cylinders

Hmmm..I got both cylinders fitted but the clutch master cylinder extends slightly past the level that the cover plate will allow? :}

Anyone else suffered from this?

Bear in mind that this is WITH the @15mm spacers between the bulkhead to the driver compertment and the master cylinder. I think by removing these it MAY clear but it will still be a close thing.

RE: Fitting brake and clutch master cylinders

Paul,
You have to cut a cut a suitable hole in the cover plate, then make a raised cover to go over it.
On mine, I may just be able to get away with a simple flat patch on the outside of the cover plate.

If you remove the spacers the clutch master cylinder will be part way along its stroke in the rest position, so you will end up with insufficient travel to operate the clutch properly.
