RE: Brake pipes

Car Builder solutions are the firm I bought the tool and the rivnuts from. Their more expensive tool is a better buy than the cheaper one if you can afford it-many break the arms off the cheaper tool in a short while. The aluminium rivnuts are much easier too use for the brake line and petrol line clips. I used the collared ones rather than countersunk as the tubes are thin wall and many of the fixings are into round tubing. I used s/s and rubber p clips from
www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk They are vv good qlty and well priced.

RE: Brake pipes

I noticed the brake line running inside the transmission tunnel. Not 'wrong' but there is also space to run it outside from gearbox to diff - the rubber body mounts provide adequate clearance - and this ensures no broken and flailing prop shaft will ever deprive you of rear brakes just when you need them! x(
