| Steering rack set up Hi Guys, Have just bolted the steering rack in position and fitted the track rod ends and even when they are fully wound on I cannot get the discs to parallel or slightly toe-in as suggested. The build instructions states that the GDJag installation might require the rack ends to be shortened by a 1mm or so but this won't help to solve my problem as I've run out of thread on the steering rack. Any advice please??

| RE: Steering rack set up I had the same problem, ie the track rod ends screw on up to the end of the thread on the rack and still not enough toe in. My solution was to grind off about 5mm from each track rod end, enabling them to screw on another 5mm each.. Problem sorted.. Adrian There ain't no replacement for displacement.. Costs to date: £7075.57 Pain in Wallet: Moderate Progress: [b]Chassis rolling, pipework fitted, waiting for the engine..[b]
