sqeeking diff.5 months now,and ive soted it!
well today a frien and myself finally cracked the problem with my sqeeking diff.ive changed the oil several times,still didnt cure it.had several people look at it,without resolve.it all came to a head today when i drove it up the road with the bonnet open,no noise!
yes,that sqeeking diff which sounded as if it was just about to drop out turned out to be the alternator hitting the bonnet strut! DOH! never mind,im happy now! russ

Sorry mate, would liked to have seen the new colour in the flesh, but unfortuanatly or fortuanatly I will be on holiday, will be at Exeter if you can make it. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Chris Nothing against Purple or Fords  , just had an embarrasing situation when I first met Russ at Castle Coombe, a few of us where taking the piss out of this purple AK, when this young fella joined us and started agreeing with us on how crap it was, after about 5 minutes he said it was his car, if the ground could have opened up I would have dived in, Russ, you took it like a man, well done mate. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
