Drive out with the TVR club

The Bristol TVR club is having a run out to the Brecon Beacons on Saturday 19th July and have invited any Cobra drivers to come along.

At this stage the exact departure time in uncertain but likely to be around 09:00 from the Willy Wicket at Emersons Green, Bristol.

Unfortunately it's my wedding anniversary and SWMBO has put her foot down !!!

Anyone else interested ? I will post more details as I get them.

Paul

Sadly Paul I cannot make it, it's the wife's Birthday on the 20th and I have planned to go to Sherborne for the Classic Car show with the South West CRC lot. So I have to be a good boy on the 19th and take her out somewhere.

Hairysanta (Not so hairy now!!!!!!!!!!!) may be up for it in his new Crendon!!!

Regards

Mark

Hi Paul.

Yep, he sold the DAX, now got a Crendon. He is picking it up on Wednesday.

It's Silver, Got a Cleveland engine. Looks lovely. Tax Exempt.

He may also get a Kirkam, there is one in Scotland for sale.

It was his 60th last Thursday, belated birthday present to himself, ha ha.

He still has the SRV8, but that is just to run to the shops in!!

Mark

This man has a serious addiction that we need to help him with. You take the Crendon and I'll look after the Kirkham when he gets it !!!

Really though, 1 year and 4, possibly 5, Cobra's !!!!

Envious ?? Just a little

Paul

The car for Fran has been quietly forgotten although if I am a bad boy, there is a risk that she may remember !

Not sure about Sunday, if we can, it will be a last minute thing.

Tell me you are not just going to go up, turn around and drive an unknown car all the way back from Scotland !! That is a great leap of faith.

Have fun

Paul

Have faith

Hi Paul,
No this one is over by London, but it wouldn't worry me if it was Scotland --- just piddle me off the amount of fuel---probably have to fuel up 3 or 4 times, it was 2 tankfulls to get the 6.3 SRV8 back from Hastings

But it's all good fun

I wish you had seen the last cob-- the dax it was DB62 and it really was nice, you would have loved it. I still have the plate(C7BRA) on retention so I'm hoping I can put it on the Crendon --with a bit of luck

Hope to see you Sunday, it's going to be an early start, and we could drive down to Dixie's place together (Shepton Mallet) then on down, I think there could possibly be a spare ticket going but Dixie would probably know more

Pete

Hi paul,
long time no see.
No one has asked permission to trespass onto my patch.

Sadly I can't join you either as I have prior engagement at Gaydon for a big Land Rover 60th bash.

Are you going to the Silverstone Classic?

Hey Kev

You still alive and kicking ???

I didn't think passports were needed to enter the principality, however we would be paying our respects to the Severn bridge fairies (£5.20 to get in !!).

I can't go on the TVR tour for reasons previously mentioned and won't be going to Silverstone either but glad to hear you are still visiting the CRC site.

Catch up with you again sometime and love to Sandra.

Cheers

Paul
