Know the cummins engines quite well, We tend to work with the KTA38's and NTA 855's. very strong units apart for one in hull, four out of six pots pick up and seized a right bar steward to get them out.

Russ
I notice your signature has 383 Chev now added, have you got your engine sorted now?

Didn't know Cummins had antyhing at Huddersfield? We're currently in talks about moving a bed from Hinckley to Darlington, and possible new cells too!
Seems like Cummins are benefiting from a good level of investment at the minute. Makes a change for manufacturing in this country!

The Huddersfield plant is owned by Cummins but is better known as Holset Turbochargers. They have 6 test cells and similar amount of gas stands for standalone turbo testing. It is the main works for all Cummins Turbocharger work and support. I believe they support, China, India, USA etc. I have seen the Darlo plant on Senhouse road, the one at Huddersfield looks a lot bigger. It's all new to me as I am yet to start but the initial impression of the comany was very good. I'm looking forwards to doing some interesting engineering again with like minded folk!

I'll be at Newark tomorrow, the weather is looking better! Russ, I will catch up with you at the next meet.

Cheers,
t
