Wheels Please

Hi, I have just got my AK 427 generation 2 kit (based on XJ40) and a very happy man I am. However I do not have any old jag wheels to roll it around on as none came on the axles. I thought there must be people who will have some left over from a build. So is there anyone wanting to get rid of some that I could borrow/buy?

Thanks in advance for your help, Andy

Hi Andy

Can't help you at the moment but I hope to get my Halibrand's in about March. If you are still looking then, you can have my build wheels with pleasure, if you pick them up (I live near Newark on Trent). They are XJ6 and a bit rough with illegal tyres, but they are doing the job for me (you can see some pictures on my website). I also only have three wheel nuts per wheel, but I never intended shooting up the road on them!!
I will be advertising them on the forum once I have finished with them.

Cheers

Martin

Martin, flying along with the build now, wheels in March, I can see you cruising about in that sun in the summer. I'll have to pop round and have another look.

Andy, where are you based, might help to locate some wheels.

You don`t have to be mental to build a kitcar - but it definitely helps.

GD JAG mk4 finally on the road (but not quite finished)
Currently got more hp than talent.

Hi guys, thanks for all the help. Sorry I didn't see that other post, still someone else has messaged me kindly offering me theirs. Just a quick one, are the XJ6 and XJ40 stud patterns the same?

Yes, they are the same stud pattern. I should be getting my wheels from AK in 3 or 4 weeks, if anyone needs some Jag build wheels (not road legal tyres) they will be more than welcome to come and collect them.
