SBC Balancer / Remover / Installer

I have one of these if anybody local needs to borrow it. A lot safer than the hammer method

Re: SBC Balancer / Remover / Installer

Ahhh

That makes things so much simpler...

NOT

Assume that i'm someone who's taken numerous 4-pots apart from Minis to Lotus's, but knows nothing about yank v8s. I thought the crank was just the bit with the pistons on that span around.

Harmonic = similar frequency
damper = reduces resonance
crank = zigzag thing with conrods attached

Whats a harmonic crank damper ?!

Re: SBC Balancer / Remover / Installer

Suggest you read the well known book on harmonic crank dampers
it's written by "Ivor Vibration"
