Sierra Steering Wheel

Hi,
Can anyone loan me a Sierra steering wheel and the appropriate boss for the sierra column? My SVA is next Wednesday and stupid here forgot he needed a compatible wheel. Am in West Sussex, but near Guildford (Surrey). Would happily send money for postage if someone could do that, along with a deposit to guarantee you'll get the wheel back! Anyone who can help, please email andrew.rawlinson(at)imperial.ac.uk

Obviously I won't be fitting the beautiful wooden Motolita wheel I happen to have once its through the SVA, but as another possibility does anyone know whether I could cover it with anything that would allow it to get through the SVA? Had thought of foam pipe lagging over the rim and foam and vinyl over the spokes, but doesn't seem a good idea.

Cheers,
Andy

Re: Sierra Steering Wheel

Hi Andy I have one (Oxon/Wilts) border, I paid a £10 from a Scrappie - as I only needed the horn track from it - drop me a PM if you need it.

Re: Sierra Steering Wheel

Cheers Jon. I might try the nearest scrappie first and see if I can get one for a similar price. I was reluctant to do so because they've tried to rip me off before now, but if I know what other people have got them for they'll probably let me have it for the same. If I get stuck I'll give you a call.

Andy
