Apart from the usual Cobra selection there was also a Ferrari ( most definitely not a rebodied MR2) and an 55 year old XK120 lending their not inconsiderable grandeur to the proceedings. Unfortunately the pristine XK 120 had to follow a boat anchor powered Cobra home so no doubt needed a good wash to get rid of all the oil deposits and detritus emenating from the lead vehicle. Tony the Jag is now nice and clean, and all the oil that left my cobra is now replaced in the sump.
I was grateful that I could catch a lift both there and home, although remarking on the oil slick forming in the car park under a particular Cobra did lead to threats of " its a long walk home Tony"..... Tony the amount of times you have taken me meets when i was rebuilding my cobra it is only right that a repay the debt, which is a pleasure.
Looking forward to the next one in March which I believe will be the first in the new venue at Knowle, see Kurmetts postings for confirmation.
Cheers,
