| Hi Wayne I am in Lincoln, off Brant Road, but my Cobs off the road at moment, due to having the engine rebuilt after the last guy that built it f***** it up, big style  It possibly will not be back on the road till end of May  But will have to meet up then.  Regards Colin

| Hi Martin Yes I`m afraid so.This was Jeff Jeal near Banbury, which was surposed to be an expert on Chevys, corvettes, and to know about the LS engines. In the short he rebuilt my engine and I asked him to replace the crank with a standard, ask the original one was shot but to replace the rods & pistons with forged ones to just make it more bullit proof. and to fit high ratio rockers. Well the engine never felt as quick or as torque mainly, but still had 405 bhp on the dyno. When Ken at EDA stripped the engine it all came apparent:- Firstly the higher ratio rockers were never fitted, but I paid for them, and he made me lead to believe they were there as I had been chasing him for him to return my original one which he always had a reason why he could not give them straight away. Secondly, and main reason.... he had fitted the standard crank, but fitted the forged rods and pistons for a stroker, meaning that the pistons were down the bores by 208 thou, yes I cannot believe it too...... Can you actually believe somebody would do it, what a so called engine builder he was..... Well I hope its third time lucky He ha snow left the UK to live in the States, I wonder why........
