Well I have spoken to the organisers at cosford and it is now confirmed for april 13th for the breatfast meeting. they would like to get an idea of the number of cobra that may turn up so please can you let me know when you are able. Hopefully it wont be the usual small turn out we have had for a period of time.

I will continue to find other events and get togethers that we can all enjoy.

As with any meet in the west midlands member from all over country are welcome.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Breakfast meet, on a Sunday...........As Iain knows I don't do breakfast on any day never mind Sunday !!

Oh well as its in a good cause I could be tempted to come along. Will we be doing a Convoy thing, if so I'll have to skulk along at the back in a tintop.

Cheers,

Tony

Ps Iain, word to the wise, as evidenced by your atavar all that Danish bacon ( probably full of growth hormones) in those foreign hotels is playing havoc with your body..........stick with the cereals for a bit and they may go down. hth.

Thumbs up

I think all the ideas are really good and you can count me in for the Breakfast club do.

In the past years I have had a look at some of the summer "Sunday" events at places like Ragley Hall, Supercar Sunday at Gaydon, Vulcan day at Wellsborne etc as its a whole day out, you can look at other stuff as well as Cobra`s and it`s a picknic with er in doors etc. There`s the Formula 1 test days at Silverstone, was good value, free, now they want £15 squid (unless they do discount for clubs).

Although it`s a private do, some of us Cob owners are doing a three day "tour of Wales" organised by a crowd of biker mates from work just for the hell of it. Who knows.....LeManns next time??

As I said, I think all the ideas are great. I think the hardest part is finding out in advance when some of the other smaller events take place in order to let everybody know and that there`s a lot of organising to do. Perhaps if we all let Iain know if we are interested in anything and find out some details then it would help him out.

Roll on summer

Bob

I am sure that we can arrange for you to come along in the cobra with with me so you can continue to sleep until your normal wake up time then it home time.

PS
I have moved onto the kelloggs cereals as advised for the mornings and now all i need to do is move off the free beer. and onto water.

Iain

The Super Car Sunday held at Gaydon is 15th July this year. I have some entry forms for the event which I can bring along to the next meet. Might be nice if we can all go along, as one of our day's out.
