breakfast meeting

Anybody going to the Breakfast meeting at Cosford tomorrow. Weather looks possibly dry in morning and maybe some showers in afternoon.

Phil

I am going and I know Boyze, Cobrageoff and Russ are too.
There may be another one or two of the other "Walsall" guys as well.

Thumbs up

Hi guy`s,

Spec and I are meeting up in Bromsgrove, possibly Stabber as well (if he`s a real man) and then we are taking the scenic route up the A449, A41. See you there just before 9, hopefully, unless, as you say its chucking it down at departure time!!

Bob

Just back from a very enjoyable car met at RAF Cosford. Unfortunately it was absolutely lagging it down when I was awoken from my slumbers at "sparrows fart" this morning and as suspected Iain turned up in a tin top ( a V8 admittedly) accompanied by his father. This gave his father and I the opportunity, on the drive up the M5/M6, to keep commenting on how improved the weather was and how there was still time to turn round and get the Cobra etc etc. Only threats of an enforced walk home put a lock on our witty banter.

Anyway a very good turnout of Cobras (see piccie) and even more owners, so this meet location will no doubt be repeated. It was also very intresting to see a wide selection of other car marques in attendance including VW beetles and vans, Old style Minis, New Style Minis, Golfs, TVR's, and even some Hot Rod type things..........including the worlds roughest E type, bonnet by polyfilla and paint by Dulux. Only the age of the exposed rust verified that the car was an original from the early 60's.

The most unusual car there was a time machine from the 1980's, and I mean a real time machine, a Delorean complete with Flux capacitor, external wiring and smoke machine for added effects. It was joined by another 10 or so standard DeLoreans who had perfected the art of gullwing door opening in convoy.

Here are a few piccies for your delectation.

Cheers,

Tony

Heres the addy of the site for the pics taken by the organiser.

Midlands Breakast Club - April 13th Pics!

How he can marshall cars in and out and still find time to take pictures llike these is amazing.

Theres a couple of photos of Cobras that attendees may find interesting.

Cheers,

Tony

Tony

I suppose you had to come in the lardy tin top to keep all your photographic equipment dry!

The organiser's pictures are good too. I thought the whole thing was great and a must do again.
