First post to the forum!

Hello to my British cousins and fellow Cobra lovers, Found the site by cruisin for Cobra information and decided to join!

To start I'd like to find out if anyone knows who manufactures the windscreens in UK and US I need a set of new side posts for my windscreen since its pitted! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Johnnyscobra

Hi Johnny and welcome

There are 2 manufactures in the UK, but neither has a web-site, they are:-

Autobrass Telephone +441805 804583. Fax +441805 804657, I know he exports windscreens to the States.

Brasscraft Telephone +441252 782702. Fax +441252 783628.

Hi Johny,

You will be lucky if they will just supply the side posts. More likely you will have to buy the entire screen, as they are all hand made and subsequently all slightly different. :thumb:

Thanks Guy's for the info, I'll take a look at your individual pictures to see what you have built!

Re: New member

Noticed you have a 351C looks great!
I built a 351w and converted to clevland 2bbl heads
I got the larger stainless valves that way and scew in 7/16 studs, roller rockers and had the ports opened up a bit. I went with 10:7 compression dome hypereutectic pistons and a dual pattern cam with mid to high rpm characteristics. The intake was a special cleavor unit called a track boss single plane made for windsor/cleavland applications.
I'll try to take pics and post them!

Your probably right , nobody appears to want to sell post individually.

Will have to refurbish the ones I have!
