Another new member

Hello all,

I have been following the site for a while now and collected my kit 4 weeks ago.(new sumo)
Its been a hectic few weeks and I have already posted quite a few times for advice but neglected to introduce myself!!
The response to my posts has been great and I"m afraid the forum may well be used a lot in the next few weeks until the cars finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are there any members in Berkshire area I"m in Reading

Cheers
Steve

Hiya Steve,
I actually live in notts now, but done my apprenticeship at AWE down the road from you, and thats where i saw my first Cobra!, one of the scientists had built this beast and i've dreamt of owning one ever since.

I'm still in the 'decisions decisions' stage and hope to get a kit ordered end of May.

Chhers for now

Hi Steve (or is that Basil???)

You are in the heart of the Thames Valley Cobra area so plenty of folk in and around Reading.
You may already be aware TVC meet the third Sunday of each month at The Fox & Horn, Stratfield Mortimer around noon.
Good luck with the build.

Re: Another new member

Steve, when I setup the east Mids Meet I was still building my cob so the answer to your question is a definite Yes you do not need to have a Cobra to go to the Regional Meets. :thumb:
