Insurance

Hi,
Can anybody recommend a good insurance company, for a cobra replica. I have tried various insurance companies but they will not insure kit cars.
Thanks.

Hi Luke

Welcome to the Mad House. :thumb: Go to the Quick Links in the top left hand corner of the screen, Links and Files, Insurance. Gives you a choice of 15 My personal choice was Backford Bloor as they offered the highest "written" agreed value

Re: Insurance

I did say what i was insuring a Cobra Replica, anyway can anyone tell me an insurance company for young drivers, the only one i could find was adrian flux but they won't give me a straight quote. I plan to build a cobra in the near future but i need to get an insurance quote so i know that i can afford to run it. Because i am a young driver i won't get insurance with V8's or V6's so i have turned to westfield, they run their cars on 1.8 throttle bodied injectioned Zetecs which pump out 180bhp at flywheel. Not only that they sound like a Ford 2.9 V6. I've got the money to start soon building soon. But if i build and can't afford insurance i would have wasted my time and money.

Re: Insurance

Footman James is an insurance broking company. Have always given us good prices for Jag, motorbike, Spitfire and now the Cobra. Worth a phone call - 0845 458 6791. they also have a website but not sure of address, you will have to google it. Good luck
