Newbie Needs To Know

Hi Guys and Gals,

Just sold by beloved Nissan 350z and have persuaded my wife to let me get a Cobra.
I have upto about £20K to buy a second hand replica, does anyone have any points as to what I should look out for. I am a bmw technician so have knowledge of how they work (ish!), but is there any known problems, common faults etc.
Also what sort of engine, running gear, chassis and suspension is favourite. Obviously this will be my first Cobra and I want the experience to be spot on.
Any help at all would be fantastic.
Cheers,
Mark

Russ,

Where are you based? I might take you up on the offer.

Re: Newbie Needs To Know

Mark,

You haven't put where you're based but my best advice would be to find your local regional meet, go along speak to the lads, look at lots of cars BEFORE you put your hand in your pocket.
If you're anywhere near me you can gladly come along and look at my car for ideas

Steve
