Afternoon All............

Afternoon everyone, new to the site, have only just come across it so I thought I'd say hi.

Am thinking of getting a replica, and know things have changed significantly since I helped my father build his one!!

Just out of interest, does anyone on here have Unique Autocraft Python?

Jim

Hello Sidepipe and welcome to the Madhouse,
I love the fact that just posting you will have upset 1/3 of the members

If your not aware there has been a long running debate on the virtues of side pipes as apposed to underslungs, but don't worry its all light heated banter

Rich

Jim afternoon and welcome.
You couldnt have landed in a better place.
If you are interested, the southeast regional meet is this coming SUNDAY at the Grasshopper in Westerham, not that far from you, and our rep Dave N aka billy no mates only lives about 4 miles from you.
Why dont you pop down and say Hi. and talk cobs of course.
if you need advise re meets in the southeast etc contact either
DaveN or me AndyS via PM
lots coming up including the show at detling nr maidstone, Ravenswood School in Bromley and the Bromley Pageant of course, not to mention le mans classic and a couple of trips to Brands Hatch, there are others but a full programme is about to be published along with the regular meets on the 4th Sunday of the month at the grasshopper, where you can expect to see 10 + cobs evry time.

To Andy and Dave.N

Cheers guys, I'm actually living in Biggin Hill, so I'm literally a couple of mins from the Grasshopper, I might see if I can pop down on sunday and have a gander.

Dave- Question for you, your SR. Not blue with white stripes and a Rover Lump by any chance?

I used to go to quite a few Cob meetings with my father a few years ago, places like The Blacksmiths Arms etc/Sandown etc.

He had a Black Unique Autocraft Python with a Small Block chevy running a Quicksilver auto box. No idea where it is now though
