Newbie..

Hi all,

First off, I don't own, or plan to build a cobra I'm afraid, however I'm after advice on the Rover V8 engine, and this seemed an obvious choice, as a fair amount of you have plenty of experience with them.

I own a 1991 Range Rover Vogue SE, which I'm currently prepping for it's MOT, but at the start of next year I'd like to do an overhaul of the engine to some extent. The car itself is in great condition, as is the engine to be honest, but I'd like to try and get some more power from it, and I think at 116K miles, it's best to do things properly, and replace things such as all engine hoses etc, to try and avoid any nasty suprises.

Anyhow, I'm sure I'll have some questions soon enough, cheers!

Matt

Re: Newbie..

The guys n gals there are generally friendly - the technical bits are straightforward but in the main section "Anything Goes" it generally does. Have a trawl about and see what's what...

Hi Matt,
I have managed to rebuild my rover v8 with help from these guys. You will get answers to your questions and there is a wealth of information here available to you via the search facility :thumb:

Another good site for V8 help is http://www.v-8.org.uk/forum/

Cheers
Jim
