Welcome to the forum David.
Don`t worry about questions being stupid or not - ask away.:thumb:
It`s the answers you get here that can be sometimes stupid

You don`t have to be mental to build a kitcar - but it definitely helps.

thanks for the welcome :thumb:
basically i currently own a misti Evo 7 running 400 bhp but i've always fancied a cobra , to me they cunjure up images and thoughts of a finer appreciation of things. ive always thought the cobra to be stunning with its classic styling and brutish looks coupled with the power and noise its just an icon and i truly cannot wait to live the cobra ownership experience :drive:

Re: Newbie

Hi David

If you can get to Folkestone onthe first Tuesday of the month, we meet at the Burger King just off the M20 (before the tunnels) - around 7.30 pm. Usually get a few cars, even in the Winter so you can have a good nose round the different models. If you fancy it, turn up or give Tony Chesney a ring (01303 844673, evenings) or me (07798 850486).

There's also the Westerham meet on the 4th Sunday @ 12.00 (Grasshopper PH on A25)- always lots of cars there and daylight as well!!:thumb:

Hope to see you at one or both:drive:

Robin

Ooh Fresh Meat !!

My only advice is run away now before the South east lot get their hands on you.

I believe the initiation ceremony involving a blow up sheep, a gallon of Optimax and a big Whopper is generally most unpleasant but it does cement the comaraderie needed when its the Sunday Afternoon at the Le Mans Classic and a clean bog and toilet paper are both in short supply. If you need the last rites we even provide our own Reverend who is also known as " The Keeper of the Flask"..............

Enjoy the obsession, it only gets worse..........

Cheers,

Tony:thumb:

Re: Newbie

Dave

The show season is the another good way to see lots of cars, make comparisons and talk to both manufacturers and owners. Like any major investment, do your research thoroughly and you won't be disappointed. Whatever you do, make sure you drive it first!

If fancy a trip further afield to see a Cobra in build that most won't have seen, you would be most welcome.

Ian
