| Hi from Northants Hi folks The name's Craig (or Eric), and after many years of wanting to, I've finally found the Kohonies to build a Cobra I've chosen to build an AK (following a great factory visit thanks to Jon), and whilst there I dropped across a customer's Chevy engine that he was looking to sell following an upgrade that AK were doing for him. This has put ordering the chassis / body kit on hold a while, but the price of the Chevy seemed too good to ignore. This "a*se about way" of going about the build also got me seriously thinking about the donor. And after much unsuccessful reading, I now need my first piece of advice from you folks:- Do I have to buy a whole donor car to get the V5 and use it for the Cobra? Or can I buy parts from different cars and get the V5 another way?? If so, how??? Any guidance or direction to relevant threads would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Craig |
