Hi to all.New today so go easy on me.Anyone suggest who to use for insurance and any tips for keeping quotes low? Looking for a 350 chevy powered Dax. Also any obvious things to look out for as only used to buying run off the mill cars thanks.

I've been with Backford Bloor for five years and managed to negotiate a discount this year of around £80. to £350. 3000 miles.

Shopping around seems to be best option - but not always using any of the comparison sites as they tend to be allied to specific companies.
Insurance is quoted on driver age/location/security and miles expected to be driven + value
So an old git, living in a nuclear bunker in mid exmoor doing 20 miles a year in a car worth 10 quid may get a reasonable quote - but this is not guaranteed.
