It goes without saying that if you need any help, this is the forum to provide it.
As you can see there are a number of us in the area - I'm just up the road in Saughall, Chester.

Hi Red,

Welcome back to the fold!

Steve & I used to receive black and white magazines too but being Cobra 'Anoraks' have stayed around all these years, sad eh?

I don't mean that really, we have had some great times and met lots of wonderful people though the club.

Hi Max, I am in Winsford so not very far either, and have also recently purchased a dax. Have fun, probably bump into you at some point (not literally I hope).

Looks like there are few "sleepers" in Cheshire perhaps we should arrange for a meet at a pub that nobody can find over summer? I'll put a few dates up for June July shortly see what we think?

Anyone from North, North West going to Le Mans Classic?

I am and wondered if there were any convoys I could attach to ? Ferry from Portsmouth on the 10th 0830.

Just battling to set up my ever so simple Holley carb, not knowing the first thing about them!!...the joys of motoring!

Max

Hi Max, welcome to the (Sumo) Cobra club. Sure many will prefer the thrill of building their own, but I guess yours will be more relaibale than many...I'm currently doing a Dukes of Hazzard and having to climb over a door to get in and out.

Hadn't realised where my passion for Cobras came from, until my parents moved house and delivered a box of my old attic stuff. It included a Kit Car mag from July 1995 featuring the Sumo SEV kit for £3k. Strange how a decade later I bought one not remembering that magazine collecting dust I had drooled over for so long. Proves Cobras age well.

I'm from near Oldham, and work in Stoke so commute through Mere and down the M6 so maybe meet up if the sun ever gets out

Jon

Hi Max,
I have a Holley instruction manual if you want to borrow it or if you are really frustrated with it you can pop over and we can try bolting on my spare Edelbrock.
Are you going to Stoneliegh next weekend and do you want a passenger?
Harry
