Another 302 clutch problem

Hi All, I am still building my ebay Cobra the problem I have now is that the Clutch cable is too short.

My car is a Fiero using a Sierra pedal assy and I have a T5 box fitted using the Mustang belhousing and clutch fork.

I have a Sierra cable that is too short can anbody tell me if I can get a long enough cable or where I could get one made.

Alternatively is there another solution?

Thanks Arthur

Hi Arthur

I have exactly the set up you describe..... a Euro427 with a 302 and a mustang t-5 gearbox. I had my cable made up by Mike at speedy cables. You probably have thought of this, but you need to get a cable with the sierra style pedal end and the mustang style hemisphere at the clutch lever end. I have a design that I know works (its on my car now!)with all the dimensions. PM me if you want the full details

John
