Jon. I think that after 3 months of asking the same question! It is safe to assume that there is KNOWONE in the SE building a De Dion IF you are having problems would it not be better to A) Ask Dax or B) Ask a specific question on here so that you might get an answer from someone in the country that is building one.

John,

Your best bet would be to get Dax to talk you through the procedure, their build manual should give you the required information.

Alternatively drop our Dave Brookes ( DB Sportscars) on here a private message. He's dug many a Dax owner out of the mire with his knowledge of Dax assembly methods.
