Hi from Kent

Hi there. Ive just been given permission from her indoors to invest in a Cobra. As with everyone else this has been a dream since I first saw a Cobra in a film called the Gumball Rally
Im actively looking for the perfect Cobra (price v looks) and will be asking a lot of questions.

Welcome Chris, which part of Kent?

Are you buying or building a Cobra?

Andi.

Hi Chris
Where in Kent are you?
We have a thriving cobra meet in Kent and two venues in case you don't want to drive too far or can't spare the time over a weekend.

Come along and ask all the questions you want, there aren't many that haven't been covered before. Unfortunately our monthly meet was yesterday, but we have another on the second wednesday of the month. (see the SE Region area thread) We have around 12 to 20 cobs turn up and you will always have plenty to look at.

Although I have to appologise to John who we couldn't help very much this weekend. Then again this site is a whole bucket of information. That darn de-de-de-dion set up.

There are many ways to get yourself a cobra and there are a few golden rules you MUST adhere to, otherwise your dream could become your nightmare.
We'll start with, don't even look at any car which is not registered correctly on the V5. If it has Daimler, Jag, Sierra, Mustang or other run away FAST. It must have Dax, Pilgrim, AK, SR or other actual COBRA kit manufacturers name.

Give me a pm with your e-mail address and I know a quick phone call would help you along the way.

Good luck, look forward to seeing you at a meet. Make sure you say hello and ask all those life altering questions.

There is also an East Kent meet at folkestone, again see forum. As before ping me a pm with phone no, or e-mail. Bought both of mine and know many pitfalls.
