another new member

Hi just joined today ,had my dream car approx 11 months. It's a RAM 5.7 CHEVY high output with holley double pumper (nice and green ). I think its in good nick for 1993 but the little bugger is a little static at the moment with a broken clutch selector fork . Chang at Thunder Road has been very helpful and is sending me some bits which hopefully with my mate from Bowenmotorsports will get me going again. I hope to attend some meets and after visiting the forum as a guest in the past realise this is the place to be. Regards Graham

Welcome. Why wait 11 months to arrive here?

Think on about that DP carb - it really is a race-only item, not good for a road engine.

Thanks Bob, we used to live in your neck of the woods in sunny Blackwell. We had a few scans for our first born at Redditch Hospital and I can still remember paying an arm and a leg for the hospital car park ! Moved south in 1996 , happy days though.

Thanks for the advice Wilf I will start asking for more advice , at the moment i confess to being a crap mechanic but a fantastic car valet. I suppose on any decent runs i might need my own tanker. Hopefully I should get some advice and solutions on Sunday at Stoneleigh. Thanks mate
