20 year club

Hi , my grandfather joined De Haviland in 1940 and recieved his 20 year club certificate and lapel badge in 1960 i have photo's of the occasion and a list of members who also became members of the 20 year club at the same time there are 108 on the list ! i also have a small photo of what must have been an early comet on the runway with a display board in front of it ? i just wondered if anyone out there had any interest in any of the things i have ?

Hi Steve,

Not sure if you mean a genral interest in old aircraft, but we had a great day out at RAF Cosford the other week and there were lots of good cars and old aircraft to see. In June, i think, there is the Vulcan day (nothing to do with star trek) at Wellsborne, near Stratford.

I used to work at the De Haviland building in Edgware......in 1999

I worked on the BACS interbank transfer system that is run from there now. Its a very strange building, massive with no windows.
