Yes I drove past twice! then almost caused an accident the third time.

I could have taken a few more things from there as well if I'd had the money

The tiredeness can take a long to go, I can still fall asleep in the afternoon quite easily

Hi Andi

It took us three times too and on the third time we stuck the hazard lights on and Paul noticed someone really slow behind us. As we turned in the other car behind us pulled in too and said it was their third time too. If it wasnt for them coming in at the same time as us we would still be sitting there as they had been given the button numbers for the security gate to get into the place.

Like you, Paul would have loved to have bought more but money dictates at the moment BUT he did take the website address and has already been looking on there (cheeky monkey!).

When I think how ill he was in Nov/Dec/Jan its a miracle to see him today working on the car. I never thought the day would be here again.

He has just told me he has one more wheel/tyre to go on and thats the wheels all done!

Kind regards

Diane

Hi Andi

You can always pop your head here as long as we know you are coming. I know Paul would love to share the build with someone who has gone through it themselves.

I would put the kettle on and make the teas or coffees to keep you going lol!

I shall get some photos scanned and put them on so people can see how he has got on with it all.

Regards

Diane & Paul

Can Someone Let Me Know If It Is Best To Let The Thermostat Probe Flow In The Water Or Strap It On The Chrome Pipe As Suggested In The Dax Manual For A Tojeiro?

Thank You

The majority of people ( me included ) put it into the pipe, there is a slight problem sometimes with it leaking slightly, but if you use some silicone when fitting it then it will be fine.

Aha, I knew he would weaken...........once you've tried silicone you'll be using like Amy Whinebox uses crack cocaine!!

Cheers,

Tony

I haven't done so yet but I was thinking of using a housing from Car Builder Solutions.

Hi Diane & Paul,
As someone who has also been through the chemo mill, I know how Paul feels. I had 7 months of chemo followed by 2 months of radiotherapy and I sold my Cobra half way through because I didn't think I'd be needing it again
In retrospect, I think my wife found it tougher than I did, both emotionally and physically.
But that was 7 years ago and apart from a minor scare about 3 years ago, we haven't looked back. I took delivery of an aluminium Kirkham Cobra in January.
REgards,
Paul

Hi Paul

Thank you for your message.

I can really understand how your wife felt as I went through it too with Paul my husband.

I am so pleased to hear that you have had the all clear - I know every time we go for the check ups and blood tests my stomach goes over.

I am doing the Race for Life on 1 June. If you and my husband can go through hell and back while you were on the chemo then the race for life is nothing for me to do.

Paul has today put the engine into the cobra with the gear box and with the help of 5 of his friends. This time last year we didnt see any light at the end of the tunnel but here we are a year on and the car nearly on the road and Paul with the all clear.

Please write soon

Love Diane
