Hi Diane & Paul,
Have you sorted out the starter wiring yet?
I also have a "mini torque" starter on mine and the battery connects to the large terminal and the small terminal connects to a live feed from the igintion switch.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul

Thank you for the message.

A friend was here in the week and he called someone he knows who owns a garage and asked him.

He talked me through and it was as follows (can you confirm its correct)

The battery lead and one of the 10ml terminal brown loops goes to the outside terminal and the other 10ml terminal brown loops goes to the inside terminal.

Paul

Right, my starter is a McLeod and it has 3 terminals, 2 large screw posts and a spade post.
The is a loop wire that comes from inside the starter and that connects to the innermost screw post (I assume that one is already connected). The battery lead connects to the outermost post and the lead from the ignition switch connects to the spade connector.
I have another (red) wire that connects to the same post as the battery lead, but I assume this is the live feed for everything else e.g. lights, instruments etc.

I hope that helps.

Paul
