Ignore all these naysayers wedded as they are to their luddite technology based on 1930 yank cast iron However, if the engine is wider than say 720 cms you will have to alter the tops of the footwells to fit the camshaft covers in, but it is not an insurmoutable problem. Also be aware that you should plan for using catalytic converters for the SVA. Once tested however cats have a nasty habit of falling off and rolling under the workbench, thus liberating some more horse power for free. Cheers, Tony

Hi Tony.
I know they are wide, but 720 cms is around 23 feet. I think you must be exaggerating a tad. ![]() There is a big block hemi in a Dax somewhere and I doubt the Audi motor is wider than one of those. Not impossible, but don't expect it to just drop straight in.

As Clarkson says, it is going to be tight! My big block sits in the chassis to the nearside to enable operation of the clutch. Are we going DSG here??
..................and welcome to the mad house.
