Smile newbie SRV8

Hello
After signing up a couple of weeks ago, and after several months of looking for a new toy I am happy to say I am now the proud owner of a SRV8.
After many hours reading the advice posted on this site, I am happy to say it is correctly registered as a Southern Roadcraft and has the bonus of being an historic vehicle.
I have some work to undertake to fully complete the car, and will more than likely require some help along the way. I will apologise now for any stupid questions that I may post in the future, but the way I look at it is every day is a school day!
Could anyone recommend a trimmer in the Devon/Cornwall area? The interior is one of the jobs that need completing. Also after being caught out today in the rain on my first real test drive!! I need to look at getting a Tonneau cover. Still it will take more than a bit of rain to get that smile off my face!

Many thanks in advance
Paul

PS. Are there any other SRV8’s in the South West??

Welcome

Welcome and congrates,

There are a few SRV8's around, and Iv'e one, its no way a show car but fully sorted and used all the time (weather permitting)

Is it a older one that you can carry spare wheel

Have fun but do watch damp roads ---these cars can bite back in the wet

All the best

Pete ---just up the road

I have just finished building an srv8 and live in plymouth, I am also looking for a trimmer to do my carpets and will search this week. A few people in the trade have recommended Autotrim at Ivybridge who will be on my list of quotes. I also have a few spares perculiar to the srv8, if you get stuck send me a PM.
Dave.
