| new owner in Canada Hello all, looks like an interesting and entertaining bunch here. I recently joined the "club" by buying a Unique replica with a Ford 427 side oiler, top loader tranny and Jag rear end. Front brakes are Willwood 4 piston caliper, 15 inch replica wheels with Goodyear Eagle racing tires. Bought this in the USA and brought it back this past April so am still getting the little details sorted out to my liking. Dyno of the engine showed 493 hp at 5700 rpm. I must admit that I have not yet used full power as I have only driven it on the roads and it reaches 120 mph very quickly. I figure that any 18 year old guy in this car would be dead before nightfall. It was my dream car back then but probably a good thing I didn't have one. Hottest car I drove back then was a Shelby GT500 and this is much quicker than that. |

| I'm near Calgary, on the mountain side of the city so we are closer to skiing when the weather doesn't lend itself to driving a car with no heater or top. I had a Jag E-type for years that had a top but never once did I put it up. Figured a car like that was meant to be driven "topless". |
