I can sort out the holes in the body and the joint for the pipes to the engine but dont now how to hold them onto the bodywork/chassis. any tips or pictures would be appreciated. the pipes are 3" and have two m10 bolts welded to them. thanks |

| Hi and Welcome! I had my sidepipes made too...so I can't say what the Pilgrim method if fitting is. But, I have steel L shaped bracket welded to the chassis under the door area. With a (mini type) rubber bobbin bolted on top, then the sidepipe (with a bracket welded underneath) sits on top of that. There is also a smaller bracket attached to a body mounting bolt, another bobbin and bolted to the sidepipe under the bend as it extis the body for extra support.... Works for me! I think like most job's, it's a 'make it up as you go' thing... Having said that, I'm sure lots of people know their own 'tried and tested' methods. Good luck!

| with the pilgrim set up its worth just using the rear mount and allow the front to hang to allow some movement for the engine rock with both mounts fitted you may find the pipe fractures because there is not enough "give" in the mountings
