Hi Gray, or was that a typo and your called gary?

Anyway welcome to the forum.
Cant help you with your question as i have a non-Pilgrim exhaust fitted.

But, just a heads up - you have posted this in the newbie section. if you dont get the answer you are looking for in the next day or so then repost again in the Pilgrim section.

Hope that helps.
Jim

Hi and Welcome!

I had my sidepipes made too...so I can't say what the Pilgrim method if fitting is.

But, I have steel L shaped bracket welded to the chassis under the door area. With a (mini type) rubber bobbin bolted on top, then the sidepipe (with a bracket welded underneath) sits on top of that. There is also a smaller bracket attached to a body mounting bolt, another bobbin and bolted to the sidepipe under the bend as it extis the body for extra support....

Works for me!

I think like most job's, it's a 'make it up as you go' thing...

Having said that, I'm sure lots of people know their own 'tried and tested' methods.

Good luck!

with the pilgrim set up its worth just using the rear mount and allow the front to hang to allow some movement for the engine rock

with both mounts fitted you may find the pipe fractures because there is not enough "give" in the mountings
