Plastic Pig? Shut my mouth!!

Sorry, I was forgetting - no GRP snobs on THIS forum. I show the D-Type at various events (including Goodwood Revival etc) and all people do is come up and have a feel around the wheel arches and tap their knuckles on the wings to see if it's ally. Hell, if that's the only way they can tell (and frankly they still don't know half the time) what's the advantage in ally bodywork?

I also post on some of the Jaguar forums, and they are mostly disapproving of the RAM D-Type (same chassis as the RAM SC) - hence 'plastic pig'. Having said that, I think its terrific - and GRP is soooooo much stronger than ally.
