also in Berkshire

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Pilgrim Sumo MKII cobra which i love. It has just been sent in for an MOT but i couldn't help but drive it around a little first. Its my first cobra and iam addicted, mainly to the noise of the exhausts.

I have had a look at other newbies posts here and ive noted down all the local mechanics near to Ascot/Bracknell, which is a fantastic as good mechanics are hard to find.

Any other information or tips would be really appreciated, thanks

Welcome on board! Out of interest, where in Berks are you, and what's your first name?

You have the luxury of two CRC regions in your neck of the woods - Thames Valley (hosted by yours truly) and the Surrey, Middx & SW London (hosted by Tony - "legend"). The first meets on the third Sunday of the month at The Swan in Three Mile Cross (off M4 J11), and the second on the first Sunday at the Bushe Cafe, Blackbushe Airport. Please see the Regional Forums area for details. You're welcome to attend either or both, and Tony or I will then gently twist your arm to join the CRC if you haven't already

We'll be attending the Fleet Car Show on Sunday - see the Surrey/Middx forum for details. The weather forecast looks OK for Sunday, so hopefully there'll be a good turnout. We look forward to meeting you.

Cheers - and drive safely!

Welcome, Sorry don't know what your name is? ANOTHER SUMO! There are lots of Cobs in the area (Maily Sumos). I'm beginning to feel Daxes are in a small minority?

Nick,

I hope you don't mind my correcting your small typo ......

See you Sunday - provided the Fleet Show field isn't waterlogged that is!

Hi Alan, Yes 'Select' is the right word. There are 4 Daxes in the area (Aldershot, Camberley, Eversley and your good self) that I know of So the odds are moving in the right direction.

If we have been moved to the lower field there may be a chance of doing some mud plugging I hope not though.

Plus the chance of a shower at 10 and 1600.

Yep, not sure whether the entrance will be in the same place though. We'll find out when we arrive
