G'day guys could use some help

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to the site and the UK. I am about to embark on a ground-up rebuild on a Ram. It has a 351 Cleveland, C6 trans, Jag rear etc.
I am basically needing advice of who to contact for parts / Trimming etc, preferrably near to the Hertfordshire area.
Appreciate any advice
Cheers
Daren

Welcome aboard!
Post on the Ram forum about Rams, they are a really nice bunch, in fact I have never met a Ram owner who is not quite perfect or all there exactly!
Best contact at the mo is Danny who is just completing a Ram rebuild and will have just learned a lot of wisdom from the long in the tooth folk here!
Myself, I think I own the last ever registered Ram (one year ago).

Regarding your Q, Thunder road cars, boss is Cheng will answer/sell you everything Ram, as will Adrian Cocking who is the last/current owner of Ram/Realm engineering. Both top blokes.

Thunder Road cars are based in Waltham Abbey, a good 3 minutes away! Gawd, other folk are so lucky!

Hi Daren and welcome. I own the second most southerly Ram! Plenty of knowledge available on this forum.

So first job, manual transmission?

hi Daren, as the others have said loads of useful info on here. My favourites list in the cobra folder is ever-growing . Are you gonna do a full re-build or minor? My blog is far from complete but will give you an idea to the early stages ( i do plan on finnishing the blog i have enough photos i think). Tell us what you need and we will try to furnish you with info

As an aside you can download the build manual now, do a search on ram build manual , another new owner of a Ram set up a webspace and is hosting it for anyone to download. Bahrai ( i think )

No actually a C6 auto shift kitted with a 2500 stall, I know the C6's suck horsepower but are bullet proof. Having said that I'd like to get it overhauled do you know a good place around herts/ Essex way?

Cheers mate, Thunder road is actually on my way home. Great bunch of guys down there. They burst my little bubble a bit by telling me what's involved to get IVA'd but will press on anyway.

Hi Darren and welcome,
Why do you need an IVA if it's a rebuild, was it never finished? or registered previously?
