jag rear axles

Hi, can anybody give me an idea of how much i should be paying for the rear sub frame for ak cob and if possible the price to the get diff re-conditioned, finding it difficult to find the sub frame. Is there sombody building in Derby who would be willing to let me have a look.

Is it gen one or two kit. If it's gen 2 I have front and rear complete subframes available. Diff recon is around 400 that's what I pay. Obviously I'm not local but if your stuck then it's an option.

Dave kellys of wrexham charge about 175 guid for rear end and i have just paid Wards 350 for overhauling the diff. I would imagine John gordons would be able to supply rear as well, might be closer and really good blokes when you need jag stuff.

Average cost is about £300 for front and rear from a breaker. Ed Ward or John Gordon can supply parts and/or do the reconditioning. If you buy a LSD you should consider getting it modified to suit the weight of a kit car. Russell Derbyshire (Russell Ram2 on here) is the man for this.

When you are searching ebay don't look for specifics as they know what the Cobra crowd are looking for and charge accordingly. Search Jag stuff and the odd bargain pops up. I got my spare diff and rear running gear for £50! Rest assured if I never use it and sell it on I'll make a profit, lol.

I let one of the club members have the hubs for a song so I have just dumped the wishbones and calipers, sorry, you could have had em.

I'm pretty sure the guy I got mine from still had a couple of rear ends but it was the border of Scotland, I just used it as an excuse for a mucky weekend with the missus in a hotel. Let me know if you want contact details, I should have them somewhere.
