I'm the first!

I'm the first person to leave a comment in this area, So here i go.

My name is Kevin and i'm building a Dax Cobra, i've had the chassis for two years and so far i've painted it and fitted the diff (3.07 power lock) and hope to buy a 4.6l or 5.2l engine fron RPI.

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

Have you fitted the front and rear suspension or just the Diff. Give British American Engines a ring before you order your engine, they may be more competative.

I hate to admit it, but it was two years just to fit the diff. And the son/daughter is due in three weaks, hence the sudden burst of speed. Might eaven consider bolting somthing on the front later today.

Welcome to place where the blind lead the incompetent and the lunatics have finally succeeded in establishing a new asylum

Take your time, do it once do it right. There is a wealth of info here on engines of all shapes and sizes. If you are intent on a RV8, you may want to talk to Russ (the RAM).

Tell you what mate, you might as well calm down, ain`t no way you`ll have it together in 3 weeks, call an ambulance like everyone else! (or use a Saab 900 turbo like I did!)
