It's that time of year

Hi all. Yeah, summer's here allegedly so I guess a few new owners/builders must be joining up.

I've just placed my order for a Sumo, bought a Granada Scorpio on eBay a couple of weeks ago as the donor and plan to put an RV8 in it, though haven't decided what variety.

Moved house last week which means I now have a garage in which to build my little treasure, my very understanding girlfriend even let me decorate in there first - painted the walls and floor. She's expecting me to get a 3-piece suite in next I think

I decided about 12-15 years ago that I wanted to build a Cobra and it was the Sumo that caught my eye then for a few reasons, the prime one being cost! That's still the case now, I'd love to build a Dax but I'll be too old by the time I can afford it!

You can bank on me posting on the forums pretty regularly from now on as I work through the build

....and a welcome from me too.
You will find loads of help here if you need it.
Some of the questions you have during your forthcoming build may have been covered previously so the "Search" button may give you instant answers.

Good Luck

Re: It's that time of year

I think I have just been through the same process as you, ordered the car, built a nice sized garage, then moved into a house with a flea pit sized garage. Only good news is the car is almost finished at just over a year later, if it had been any other make I doubt if I would be this far. As said theres lots of help if you need it.

Enjoy
