I'm having it built for me, as I spend most of my time in a wheelchair I can only handle small jobs or benchwork, when I'm standing need both hands to hold on to my crutches..!

The extra cost of having someone build it for me is not much compared to the frustration of not being able to do what I was once good at... I've been wanting to build a Dax for over ten years...!

I'm looking forward to going down to Pembrooke next year when its built, you must have some amazing roads round your way to unleash the cobra...?

I live about 10 miles from Pembroke in a lovely Town called Tenby. have an ageing SRV8, but it still looks the biz, and goes well on the track, look forward to seeing you in Pembrokeshire.

My car is also at KD for an underfloor exhaust and paint, then onwards to the dreaded SVA.

On my last visit I had a look at your paintwork, looked nice even though it hasn't been polished yet.:thumb:

Impressive spec you have planned, what gearbox are you putting in.

Yes I remember you coming up to talk to Keith, you're in good hands there...!

I was going to go just for a full auto Getrag or similar, but Keith and Anthony recomended a 4-speed Tremec sequential with auto, this will give me the benefit of the engine braking which is very useful on the track...! They have built one before for a one legged ex-biker and it worked a treat....

I saw your motor when I was up last Friday, the chrome on the engine nearly dazzled me, very tidy piece of Kit, are you going for the shelby blue with silver le-mans stripes..?
